Hi, I'm Fran and my passion is everything dog! My career working with canines started a few years ago when I trained and set up a successful dog grooming business. During my time as a groomer my clients often ask for advice, whether it be advice on toilet training their new puppy or advice on how to get their teen to stop jumping up. Whilst grooming, I have also met many fearful dogs, rescue dogs and many others who needed gentle guidance to help overcome various problems. This sparked a keen interest in canine behavior and inspired me to undertake further education so that I can offer services, as a fully qualified and certified trainer. 

 

During my study and practices I ensure that the methods I use are ethical, force free, fear free, modern and positive. I also feel CPD is vital within an everchanging industry;  I adhere to meet high industry welfare standards. Therefore, I am a student member of the National Institute of Canine Ethics, working towards full membership.

To me,  positive reinforcement is the most beneficial, ethical and successful way for canines to learn, build confidence and not only supports their physical health but also considers their psychological health.
