Prepared Pups Foundation Course
Overview
Puppy socialisation is a vital aspect of integrating a new puppy into your home. By engaging in socialisation classes, you establish a strong foundation for your puppy to develop into a confident and well-adjusted adult dog.
This 5-week course is tailored for puppies up to 5 months of age. The sessions are designed to be both enjoyable and interactive, incorporating bonding activities, essential life skills, and games; all based on positive reinforcement methods to promote your puppy's success.
What will be covered
Puppy biting, mouthing & chewing
Toilet training & crate training
Body language & play styles
Affective socialisation
Basic obedience & communication
Loose leash skills
Recall
Confidence building
Our classes are kept to small groups of 4 - 8 puppies, with 2 trainers to ensure classes run smoothly, and clients get the most out of the sessions. Each week every client will receive an email, detailing the exercises covered in class. This is to help you to implement the training in between sessions.
Who is this course suitable for?
Fully vaccinated puppies, up to 5 months old.
Please see our Terrible Teens foundation course if your dog is over 5 months old.
How much is the course?
£85 for the 5 week course, weekly emails & free gift bag for your puppy.
Where are the classes held?
We conduct our classes in an outdoor setting to give your puppy a genuine learning experience. By incorporating real-life distractions, we enhance your puppy's learning process.
Our venue is a half acre fenced grass paddock, just outside St. Dennis village (PL26).
Directions will be provided in your welcome email upon enrolment.
